I can’t unsee that.

Does your kid think that poop is hilarious? (Do you think it’s pretty funny too?) Then this book will be an instant favorite.

Some butterflies have butts that look like heads. Some caterpillars are stinky and look like bird poop. Butterflies’ eating habits can be truly foul: some devour rotten fruit - the slimier the better, some dig into big piles of animal dung, and others drink tears. And did I mention that butterflies taste food with their feet? Yuck!

"Some butterflies drink tears.
They sip the water that drips from an animal's eyes.
Tears are salty, and they need salt to stay healthy."

Thanks to Eric Carle, your kid’s knowledge of the life cycle of a butterfly is probably pretty solid. Now you can take things a step further and learn all the super interesting and icky traits that help them survive in nature. But consider yourself warned, if you don’t enjoy being grossed out then this funny and factual read isn’t for you!
