Can Mom have a turn?

These beautifully illustrated activity books by French illustrator Olivia Cosneau are absolutely irresistible. They are a steal at $7.99, so I highly recommend stocking up for a rainy day, long weekend, or road trip - you will thank yourself later!

Here’s what I love about them:

1. They are extremely high quality: These are the most gorgeous activity books I’ve ever come across. The paper has a luxurious hand feel with thick pages that won’t buckle under the weight of stickers or bleed when you color. Each finished page will look like a work of art.

2. There's a variety of activities: Each page has an information box where you learn about a topic. At the bottom of the box are directions for the activity, which are to color, draw, apply stickers, or a combination thereof. I appreciate this “listen, then follow the directions” approach, because it requires each activity to be approached deliberately and with focus and leads to an end result that your child will really be proud of accomplishing.

3. The pages are packed full of facts: You and your child will learn so much over the course of completing your book! There’s even a quiz at the end to test your knowledge.

“Butterfly wings are covered with tiny scales as fine as powder. The wings’ bright colors are a signal to other species that the butterfly is not edible and predators should leave it alone!”
